Senior Portrait Session with Cam | Hamilton Southeastern High School | Indianapolis Senior Photographer
I had such a great time working with Cam for his senior portrait session! Cam is graduating from Hamilton Southeastern High School and will be attending the University of Louisville on a football scholarship—what an incredible accomplishment!
We started his session at the high school, but had to quickly pivot when we discovered the football field was being used by the lacrosse team. No worries though—we found other perfect spots around the school, and the images turned out amazing. I especially love using gel lighting when photographing high school athletes; it brings out such a bold and dynamic look in their portraits. We also made sure to capture Cam with his letterman jacket and his high school in the background—both great touches to honor his senior year.
After the school portion, we headed to one of my favorite locations for a more urban vibe—the Bottleworks District in downtown Indianapolis. Cam has a fantastic sense of style, and I always love it when a senior guy wears a suit for his session. His suit paired perfectly with the modern architecture and city lights of the Bottleworks District. We timed it just right and arrived at sunset, so the lights around the district were glowing beautifully. It added such a cool and polished feel to the images.
Cam, I loved capturing this exciting chapter of your life. Best of luck at the University of Louisville—go Cards!
